Davao is a highly urbanized city in the Island of Mindanao, Philippines. It has an estimated population of 1, 632,991 and own the largest city in the Philippines in terms of land area. The city is also the third most populous city in the Philippines after Quezon City and Manila, the most populous city in the country outside Metro Manila and the most populous in Mindanao. Most of the regions inhabitants speak Cebuano language. Tagalog and English are also spoken in Schools, business, commerce and industry. The majority of the region’s populations are Christians, mostly Catholics and there are also Muslims and Buddhists in the region.
